Cancels an existing vacation request.

**When can vacations be canceled:**
- Pending vacation requests (awaiting approval)
- Future approved vacations (not yet started)

**Note:** This endpoint is only available for employee accounts. Past vacations or vacations that have already started cannot be canceled.
