Guest access

Control whether organization members can open this project and which documentation pages they can read.

Open Projects → [Select project] → Settings → Guest access. You need permission to edit the project. This page is for internal users. Guest users do not see it.

Project access

Allow guest access is the master switch. When it is off, organization members cannot open the project. You can still prepare documentation visibility before you turn it on.

Internal projects never offer guest access.

Project documentation visibility

Choose how guests see documentation after they can open the project:

• Use organization setting — inherit the organization default. The current inherited value is shown beside this choice.
• Hidden — guests see no documentation pages.
• All pages — guests see every documentation page.
• Selected pages — guests see only pages you mark as visible.

Switching between these modes keeps saved page and folder selections. Returning to Selected pages restores them.

This setting filters what organization members can access. It does not grant project access or the permission to manage documentation. Organization members never see page History.

In Selected pages, internal documentation managers can:

• turn Visible to guests on or off for one page
• Make all pages visible or Make all pages hidden for a folder

A visible folder never publishes hidden pages inside it. Pages created by internal users start hidden. Pages and folders created by organization members start visible.
