General Settings
Various general settings for your workspace

Found under Administration → Workspace Settings → General Settings.
In this section, you define central parameters for your workspace. The settings are divided into three sections: Basic Settings, Attendance, and Pipeline.
Basic Settings

Here you define the general framework for your workspace:
- Default language: German or English. This setting applies to new users. Each user can change their own language in their profile.
- Brand color: Choose an accent color (HEX code) that matches your brand. Internal projects are displayed in your corporate color across the app’s different views.
- Country of operation: Defines the country where your company operates.
- Time zone: Defines the location used for time values, e.g. Europe/Berlin (GMT+01).
Attendance

Here you control how working hours are recorded and evaluated in the system.
-
Clocking in and out:
- Simple: Working hours are calculated automatically based on target hours.
- Enabled: Employees actively clock in at the start and out at the end of the workday.
-
Thresholds: Define the percentage from which time entries are considered “good” or “bad.” These values affect the color display in the team calendar.
-
Default working hours: Set default start and end times (e.g. 9 a.m.–5 p.m.).
-
Time-tracking reminder: Define how many minutes of inactivity should pass before the time tracker reminds the user to continue.

Pipeline

The pipeline is the central tool for short-term capacity planning.

- Start day: Defines the weekday on which the pipeline begins (e.g. Monday or Tuesday).
- Time period: Defines the period over which capacity is planned—typically one or two weeks.

Journal entry notifications

Leadtime uses journals to document events, notes, or observations about specific objects, such as employees, projects, or organizations.
With this setting, you can define which users are notified when a new journal entry is created or saved.
